BALEARIC ISLANDS
The Balearic Islands are situated in the Mediterranean off the east coast of mainland Spain. This Balearic Islands are made up of four main islands, Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The capital of the islands is Palma de Majorca and is located 132 miles from Barcelona.

Ibiza is one of the most well known and popular islands on the Balearics. The island attracts thousands of tourists each year with its stunning beaches and crystal clear blue waters, picturesque scenery and some of the most famous nightclubs in the world.
Ibiza has miles of miles of unspoilt coastline and nearly 80 beaches to relax on, and all can be found within an hour’s drive. Most tourists visit Ibiza primarily for the beaches during the day and the vibrant nightlife at night.
Menorca has a completely different atmosphere compared to the other party islands such as Ibiza. A very popular holiday destination this ‘jewel of the Balearics’ has retained much more of its Spanish traditions and heritage and is more suited to laid back holidaymakers or family groups than the party goers that flock to its neighbouring islands.
Majorca is another island that is very popular with tourists looking for great beach holiday combined with excellent nightlife. Magaluf in the south of Majorca is the undisputedly the most well known party town on the Balearic Islands. The northern resort of Alcudia is more relaxed and family orientated.
During the day Majorca has a lot to offer, with its sweeping bay loaded with beach activities and backed by numerous bars, cafes and restaurants.
Formentera is a small island in comparison to the other Balearic Islands and is often overlooked by many who visit Ibiza, its larger well known neighbour. The island is only an hour away from Ibiza by ferry, but is has to be one of the best kept secrets in the Mediterranean's. Formentera is an island paradise full of dunes, with stunning cliffs and coves to explore, along with some of the most unspoilt beaches and clearest waters in the Mediterranean.
